Radisson Blu Faridabad got a newly launched Restaurant by the name, House of Soy which serves Pan Asian Cuisine. That means any cuisine with a culture originated from the continent of Asia including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean and Indian considering the fact as Pan Asian Cuisine aren’t limited to those Big countries only. So, one thing must be crystal clear to everyone going to any Pan Asian Cuisine Restaurant, they must open their minds regarding cuisines they’re going to have there. Cause when I talk about Indian mentality, 80% of the population gonna take it as a Chinese restaurant as they might get there different sort of Dimsums and Noodles. House of Soy is popularly known for it’s Thai, Japanese Cuisines.
Well jokes apart, luckily most of my readers have a good basic knowledge of food. So I don’t have to explain any further about Pan Asian Cuisine to them cause it would be very disgraceful to them if I do. So coming straight to the ambiance of House of Soy. Without a doubt, I’m gonna say it’s one of those elite most properties one can ever be in Faridabad. Ambiance speaks itself, I doesn’t have to write about their interiors much.
Cause the minute you step in, you’ll know it all. And just for the knowledge, you’re not gonna find any Dimsums or Sushi in this Blog cause the Pan Asian Cuisine I tried here at House of Soy were just way beyond that! 😉
Exploring Drinks at House of Soy
Blue Lagoon was served to us as their Welcome drink and it had a soothing taste of Blue Curacao with the perfect level of sweetness.
Talking about their Blackcurrant Blast, I do adore the things I like and this drink was that amazing. Simple, sweetness balanced Blackcurrant fizzy mocktail which was enough to re-energize my whole mood. I’ve had Blackcurrant based mocktails at many places but this was something quite different from that. Thanks for such a nice drink.
After these two mocktails, I thought I must try something different. And, after going through their Menu card, I found something pretty different. I ordered that Iced Bella Kaapi which had some pleasant mixture of Coffee, Jaggery, Spirits of Cinnamon properly brewed and served it to my table. When it arrived on my table, had such an aroma which can elate a soul of a Coffee lover easily. I must say, ingredients used in this drinks were all satisfying someone in Winters as it was bit hot and strong though. But even after that, the chemistry of All those ingredients were going so good like a melody, I really enjoyed that drink in a Sunny day as well.
Pan Asian Cuisine Starters at House of Soy
Started my meal with these Vegetable Popiah shots having those Crispy delectable Miniature Spring Rolls stuffed with Tofu and Bell Peppers served with their Homemade Smokey Dip. Taste wise as well Presentation wise, Vegetable Popiah were just Perfect. There’s no sign of Negativity I can even think of.
Vegetables covered with Sesame Seeds presented with a small Sugarcane stick was the second best thing I liked there. It was chewy and delectable. Pardon me, if I use a lot of Perfect sort of words here in this blog. Trust me, I can’t resist using that word for such beauties like that. Plus points for the presentation as well. They do know how to make their Pan Asian Cuisine look good.
Exploring Main Course at House of Soy
Beijing Hot n Sour Vegetables Soup was delicious and nice. Nothing specific about that soup. It was just fine.
But if I talk about Mapo Tofu, then I’d say as this Silken Tofu in Spicy Chilly and bean sauce was just amazing. Crispy, soft and juicy must pe the exact words to describe that Mapo Tofu.
Chef’s Special Desserts at House of Soy
Amazing thing was that when I got to know as the Executive Chef of the House of Soy is the Chef Rakesh Sethi itself at Radisson Blu Faridabad and they were making their special desserts for us. Then I tried their Chef’s Special Coconut Jaggery Ice Cream and it was so smooth and delicious. Couldn’t shared that with anyone of my friends cause it was way too delicious.
Mud Cake Pie was something which was Off Menu and it was an amazing plus innovative Dessert. Look wise it was just like a Plant with its proper soil. But considering the fact as the soil above was the frozen chocolate crumbs and the soil below was the partial melted chocolate fused with that frozen chocolate crumbs. It was just Amazing and Surprisingly good. When it arrived on our table, we all were like, “Please get us our Dessert, Why are you serving us Plants” ? But when the chef himself introduced as it’s their Special Dessert. We all were clearly surprised with their innovation. Dessert was Highly inspired from Nature itself and was so freaking amazing.
- Do visit the House of Soy if you’re a true Pan Asian Cuisine lover. You’ll just gonna love this place as I did.
- Blackcurrant Blast is so good & refreshing.
- Sweet n Spicy Masala coated Cashew nuts on the table were so irresistible.
- Try those Vegetable Popiah Shots and Veggies covered with Sesame seeds in Starters.
- Do have that Mapo Tofu in their Main Course and you can thank me later!
- I don’t have to say anything about Chef’s Special desserts. They’re just freaking gorgeous.
